1. Our Marketplace

Pianies operates as an online marketplace where users buy and sell designer dresses. We do not sell items directly — we facilitate transactions between independent sellers and buyers. All listings are created by individual sellers, not by Pianies.

2. Condition Standards

Critical Requirement: Pianies maintains the highest standards for item condition. Only items meeting our "new or like-new" condition requirements are permitted.

Acceptable Condition:

• New with tags (NWT)
• Like-new condition with minimal to no visible wear
• Items that could reasonably be mistaken for new

Prohibited Condition:

• Items showing visible wear, fading, or damage
• Items with stains, tears, holes, or alterations
• Items with significant creasing, pilling, or stretching
• Items missing original hardware or components

Seller Responsibility: By listing an item, you warrant that it meets our condition standards. Misrepresenting item condition violates these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension.

3. Listing Requirements

Minimum Standards:

• Designer or luxury brand dresses only
• Items must meet our new or like-new condition requirements
• Accurate, detailed descriptions required
• High-quality photos showing item condition
• Honest disclosure of any imperfections

Pricing: Sellers set their own prices. Pianies charges a 10% service fee on completed transactions.

Prohibited Items:

• Fast fashion or mass market brands
• Items not meeting condition standards
• Counterfeit or replica items
• Items prohibited by law

4. Buyer Protection

Satisfaction Policy: Upon delivery, buyers have two return windows:

• 24-Hour No-Questions-Asked Returns: Return items for any reason within 24 hours of delivery.
• 24–72 Hour Returns with Review: Accepted for legitimate concerns including:
  • Item not as described
  • Condition below stated standards
  • Authenticity questions
  • Significant undisclosed flaws
• After 72 Hours: Items are considered accepted. No returns except for authenticity issues discovered later.

Return Process:

• Contact Pianies within specified timeframes
• Return items in identical condition as received
• Buyer responsible for return shipping costs
• Refunds processed upon item inspection

5. Payment and Fees

• 10% service fee charged to sellers on completed sales
• Payment processing fees as applicable
• Shipping costs paid by sellers, included in listing prices

Payment Processing: Pianies uses secure third-party processors. Funds are held in escrow until transaction completion.

Seller Payouts: Released within 5–7 business days after transaction completion.

6. User Responsibilities

All Users:

• Provide accurate account information
• Maintain account security
• Communicate respectfully with other users
• Comply with all applicable laws

Sellers:

• List only items meeting our standards
• Provide accurate descriptions and photos
• Ship items within 3 business days of purchase
• Package items securely and appropriately
• Respond promptly to buyer inquiries

Buyers:

• Purchase items in good faith
• Inspect items promptly upon delivery
• Communicate concerns within specified timeframes
• Return items in original condition if unsatisfied
